Newcastle (Australia) Coffee Mornings began in March 2009 as a social group for Newcastle & Hunter members of the social network Twitter.
The idea was first spawned by Gordon, aka TheMarketerAus, as a way for a bunch of us local Twitter users to get to interact and get to know each other outside of cyberspace.
Each Friday we get together for a coffee and chat at the Barista Espresso Cafe in the Honeysuckle Precinct of Newcastle at around 8am.
